B2W's platform is a set of connected modules — Estimate, Track, Schedule and Maintain among them — and its own site says it "can scale to contractors of all sizes, and across every work type—from civil infrastructure and utilities construction to earthwork and paving." The centre of gravity is the estimate: B2W Estimate holds "centralized cost data," and B2W Track measures the field against it.
PM Axsus has no estimating product. It starts with the budget you already have and measures earned value against it as the crew logs work — with compaction, pressure tests and inspections captured in the same entry as the production quantity.
If your estimating system and your field system being one vendor is the point, B2W has a clear answer. If your problem is that the field data arriving in any system is reconstructed after the fact, keep reading.
What B2W is genuinely good at
B2W is a serious heavy civil product line with real depth in the areas it covers.
A genuine estimate-to-field loop
B2W Estimate is described as "heavy construction software with centralized cost data," and B2W Track lets crews see "how they are performing vs. the estimate while there is still time to change the outcome." That closed loop is the product's core idea and it is a good one.
Crew-based field logs that cover everything on site
B2W Track supports "Create, edit and submit crew-based field logs to track daily progress on jobs. Record crew labor, equipment, and materials, as well as trucking, subcontractors and miscellaneous resources using an intuitive grid view."
Works where there is no signal
"Online or offline modes keep field teams productive, even without Internet connectivity" — which is not a small thing on a rural highway job or a job at the bottom of a canyon.
Equipment maintenance as its own module
B2W Maintain handles equipment maintenance and repair, with repair requests raised in B2W Track visible in Maintain. If you run a big iron fleet, having that in the same platform is a real advantage.
Where PM Axsus is built differently
PM Axsus deliberately does less than B2W in some places, and something different in others.
Earned value, in EVM terms
Tracking against the estimate and running Earned Value Management are related but not the same. PM Axsus reports planned versus earned versus actual with cost and schedule variance, so a job that is under budget because it is behind schedule reads as exactly that.
Civil quality artifacts as records
Compaction reports, pressure testing, inspections and daily hazard acknowledgment are standard PM Axsus record types tied to the same day and cost code as production — the documentation that gets a pay application approved and settles a dispute.
No estimating, no fleet maintenance
Said plainly: PM Axsus does not bid work and does not manage equipment repair orders. If those are the modules you are shopping for, B2W covers ground PM Axsus does not.
Built inside a working contractor
PM Axsus is developed inside Axsus Civil Development Company, an excavation contractor. Every workflow has to survive a foreman filling it out in the field before it ships.

B2W is likely the better fit if…

Straight answers
If we use B2W Estimate, can we still use PM Axsus in the field?
Technically nothing stops you, but be realistic about the friction: PM Axsus does not publish a B2W or Trimble integration, so the budget and cost code structure would have to be brought across rather than syncing on its own. Does PM Axsus do equipment maintenance like B2W Maintain?
No. PM Axsus captures equipment usage and utilization on the job, which is a different thing from managing repair orders, service intervals and maintenance history. If fleet maintenance software is what you are shopping for, B2W Maintain covers ground PM Axsus does not.
Which is better for earthwork and utility production tracking?
Both track production against a plan, and B2W says explicitly that it covers earthwork and utilities. The practical difference is what surrounds the number: PM Axsus keeps the compaction and pressure test on the same record as the quantity and reports the result in earned value terms.
